Below is a list of Artisans and Vendors for the 2007 Groton Community Home Tour. Many were present at our 2005 event, and joined us again for our second annual event in 2006! Artisans and Vendors In addition to the beautiful houses on the Groton Community Home Tour, dozens of local area crafters, merchants, and vendors will be present in homes and at Groton Community School to help you get a jump on the holiday shopping season. There will be extensive offerings for holiday gift buying, decorating, and entertaining. Checks or cash may be used to purchase tickets, or for artisan and vendor shopping in all locations. Having grown up on a small farm in Groton, many of Nan's paintings reflect this region and the disappearing rural landscape. Nan lives three miles from her childhood home and often paints there “en plein air.” She states, “The farm on Longley Road in Groton , where I grew up, continues to be inspirational. I find endless ideas for my artwork when I am there." She has always loved art, and painting in particular. Nan exhibits locally and has won awards for her paintings.
