Thank you, Commissioner Weber!
We were so excited to have been joined by a very special guest earlier this week. On Monday morning, the children and staff warmly welcomed Early Education and Care (EEC) Commissioner, Tom Weber. Early Education and Care is the state agency that governs early childhood programs in the state of Massachusetts. Among its many responsibilities, they set regulations, oversee health and safety needs, confirm teacher credentials, and are responsible for licensing early childhood centers. It was an honor that Commissioner Weber made some time in his busy schedule to spend time
in the field and meet all of our wonderful children and teachers.
We were incredibly inspired by his genuine interest and down-to-earth interactions with young children. We couldn’t have been prouder, as the children enthusiastically greeted him in each of their classrooms and then gathered in the Big Room to present him with gifts and share some special songs that they had been practicing. After all, how often are we joined here by “a Man in a Suit”?
