Accreditation

In May 1993, Groton Community School was awarded accreditation by the National Academy of Early Childhood Programs within the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). NAEYC recognizes early childhood programs which meet national standards of quality and excellence. The accreditation process requires parent and staff evaluation of our program and an onsite study and review by a national commission. We have maintained our accredited status through an annual review and by repeating the accreditation process every few years. We are currently undergoing the re-accreditation process under the new NAEYC Early Childhood Program Standards and Accreditation Criteria. |
