Our Extended Day Program lengthens a Half-Day program. It provides a variety of engaging and educationally rich experiences for a mixed-age group between the hours of 7:30 and 8:45 AM and from Noon until 5:30 PM. Children who are two years nine months and older can attend Extended Day on a regular or per diem basis. The program is led by a coordinator and teaching staff who thoughtfully plan children's days to include structured and unstructured opportunities for motor development, literature and language, science and sensory exploration, creative arts and dramatics. Special visitors and events highlight many curriculum themes or units. Ample time is allowed for rest, relaxation, lunch and snack as well as active play, with plenty of individual attention from staff.
