Planting Seeds

Another wonderful year here at GCS has come to a close…with so many wonderful moments of joy and happiness, learning and discovery, and the making of many new friendships. I hope you, as parents and caretakers of all these wonderful children, have enjoyed this school year as much as we have…and learned along the way too. Our year-long emphasis on Brain Builders and Mindfulness has been intriguing. In a society that runs on overdrive, with stressful schedules and long days, I am reminded of this beautiful quote above to help us all to put our role in educating and caring for young children in perspective. For it is not what we accomplish at the end of each day, but all the roots and lessons we have created that truly matters. We are all planting seeds, and that is quite an accomplishment!!
