The Groton Community Home Tour is an annual event showcasing unique homes that include both historic residences and newer homes with spectacular decor and distinctive details. The tour provides an opportunity to view the beautiful interiors of these homes, and also to do some holiday shopping from vendors and local artisans with handiwork on display in each home. Additional artisans and vendors are also on site at Groton Community School on the morning of the Home Tour for attendees and also the general public. Be sure to stop by our renowned GCS Bake Sale!
Our annual Home Tour is held on the Saturday before Thanksgiving. All proceeds benefit our non-profit school, supporting the growth and development of young children. We hope you can join us!
We are so grateful for the sponsorship of the generous businesses below for our annual community event!
Please be sure to browse our list of Home Tour Advertisers to connect with a wonderful variety of local businesses and organizations! We appreciate their support, and would like to return the favor by acknowledging their thoughtful contributions to this year’s event online and in our Groton Community Home Tour Program Guide.
In addition to the beautiful houses on the Groton Community Home Tour, a variety of local area crafters, merchants, and vendors were present in homes and at Groton Community School to help you get a jump on the holiday shopping season. There were extensive offerings for holiday gift buying, decorating, and entertaining. Click below to view our 2016 participants, adding an additional level of excitement to our Home Tour:
We had a fabulous listing for our Chance Table Drawing 2016, from our generous supporters in the community and at the school! We display items one week prior, in addition to the day of the tour, to peruse and “take a chance” on favorites.
Congratulations to all the lucky winners!!
We are so grateful for all the wonderful support we have received to benefit our non-profit early childhood center! Thank you to our gracious participating homeowners, wonderful attendees, local business and community members, GCS families, Trustees, Staff, and our hosting Board of Directors!
