About Our Tour

Saturday, October 16, 2021, 10 AM – 4 PM

Groton Community School is excited to hold our 2nd Groton Community Tour!  We hope you can join us for a fun, family-friendly event this fall!

The Ticket price is $50 per carload.

Advance Tickets are no longer available, but Tickets will be available on the day of the Tour at 110 Boston Road!

No ticket is required to shop Artisans and Vendors at the school, as well as our famous GCS Bake Sale!  Be sure visit our Chance Table to take a chance on fabulous prizes as well!

Explore the community. Decipher clues. Support local businesses. Discover something new!

While the Groton Community Home Tour was an anticipated staple for many years, Groton Community School will be unable to proceed with this popular event in 2021. As we discovered last fall with the first Groton Community Tour, enjoying a safe, local outing is still possible!  Join us for a day of fun for all ages with a self-guided driving tour and community scavenger hunt.

Gather your family and make your team! Start outside at our newly renovated GCS building at 110 Boston Rd, Groton, to collect tour materials, shop local vendors and buy tickets to take a chance on some amazing prizes and then your adventure begins! Teams will decipher clues leading them to 20+ mystery destinations to collect kite stamps in their event guide book.  Some locations may offer an outdoor activity or your team may be challenged to complete a task!  Be sure to show or send your completed Kite Stamp Sheet to be entered into the Grand Prize Drawing!

Community Tour attendees are encouraged to order tickets in advance online. Group tickets ($50 per vehicle) and lunch refreshment options purchased online will be ready for you at the school on the day of the tour. All proceeds benefit our non-profit, early childhood center, which supports the growth and development of young children.

Participants are required to wear masks and must adhere to social-distancing mandates abiding by event markers separating parties. Hours of the event are 10:00-4:00 with staggered start times and locations to allow space between groups.  We look forward to seeing you on October 16th!
