ENROLLMENT AND COVID-19
The current COVID-19 crisis has impacted early childhood programs and camps. While we are fully enrolled for our GCS Summer Program 2020 (operating with a very small group of full day children), we welcome families to contact us regarding potential enrollment for the 2020-2021 School Year Programs. Click below to schedule a personal phone call and remote tour.
We are playing close attention to the Governor’s Office, Department of Early Education and Care, and the Board of Health in terms of licensing requirements, and compliance with all health and safety protocols, for the fall.
Please stay tuned for further information!
Camp Kaleidoscope Summer Camp
Camp Kaleidoscope provides a summer of exciting experiences for young campers 3 through 7 years of age. We follow the same philosophy as our school year program, which strives to provide each child with the happiest, most positive first camp experience. Camp activities include music, arts & crafts, construction opportunities, water fun, sports, creative dramatics, science & sensory explorations, and nature study.
Enroll your child for fun at Camp K this summer!
Our GCS Summer Program 2020 will operate for Full Day Families only, on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, from July 30th through August 21st.
HALF DAY CAMP
Camp Kaleidoscope offers two-week morning sessions beginning late June through mid-August. Our sessions run on Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday from 8:45 to Noon.
FULL DAY CAMP
Camp Kaleidoscope offers a Full-Day Program that runs from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM daily, beginning mid-June through mid-August. Camp is closed in observance of Independence Day. This program offers the same camp experience as our Half-Day Program, plus time for lunch, a rest period, a nutritious afternoon snack, and additional fun, exciting indoor and outdoor activities.
Camp Kaleidoscope offers an extended day option called “Camp Continues” from Noon until 5:30 PM. Space is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis at an hourly rate.
Pre-registration is required at the beginning of the session.
What Our Families Say:
“Our daughter loved Camp Kaleidoscope and came home each day so tired, but so excited, with stories about the terrific activities. She especially loved when they played on the water slide on hot days! At the end of her sessions at camp we were given a huge envelope with all of her art projects. We were really impressed by how they integrated the camp theme for that summer into the art and activities as a teaching opportunity. So much thought clearly goes into the planning and operation of Camp Kaleidoscope. She still talks about her camp experience almost a year later!”
