On Board Newsletter, Winter 2020
We cherish this opportunity to give an update on what the Board of Directors has been doing to support GCS and, in this Winter On Board Newsletter, I am beyond ecstatic to highlight our total from the 2019 Groton Community Home Tour (below). It was record-setting in so many ways – highest income, highest profit, highest ticket total, highest volunteer total, and more! This event simply cannot happen without the support of our parents and we are so indebted to you all for your part – big or small – in helping making this year’s event the resounding success that it was. The cost to operate our beloved school climbs every year and events like the Home Tour ensure we can keep tuition increases to a minimum. There are other ways we work toward this goal as well – look for a listing of Spring fundraisers below. And, parents can always donate to the GCS Annual Fund.
We are just a few weeks away from our Annual Open House on Sunday, March 1st from 1 to 3 p.m., which gives prospective families a chance to see why we all love GCS so much. If you know of someone looking for an early education center, please encourage them to attend!
