We are proud to share our new GCS “Peace Dove” ornaments, to spread the message of “Peace” that is so dear to our hearts at Groton Community School. We formally celebrate the concept of Peace school-wide with our Peace Pole Rededication each fall and Peace Picnics each spring, along with sharing peace books, songs, discussions and projects throughout the school year in classrooms.
Proceeds of our ornaments will go to our Forward Motion Campaign to expand and renovate our school. They were a huge success at our Groton Community Home Tour!
We hope these symbols of peace will find a place in homes year round!
Peace Dove ornaments (in ceramic or tin) are just $10 each. They were a huge success at our Groton Community Home Tour, and are now on display and available for purchase at the GCS Front Desk.
