Our Temporary Stay at 14 Main Street

Our sincere thanks to the Lawrence Academy Trustees and Staff for making Groton Community School feel so welcome on their beautiful campus!
While we were under construction for the Forward Motion Project to renovate and expand our permanent home at 110 Boston Road in Groton, we moved just down the road to a temporary location owned by Lawrence Academy.
After undergoing renovation of the former County Day School at 14 Main Street, Groton Community School (GCS) was ready and eager to greet new and returning GCS families at this inviting and spacious building to begin the 2019-2020 school year. Our goal was to incorporate as many of the familiar aspects of our school as possible, relocating them to create an environment that felt like home to returning families, and maintaining the character that makes Groton Community School such a beloved school in our community.
